How do we record existing vehicle damage?
We will inspect all vehicles upon delivery and note any damage on the Docket/Tax Invoice, further to this we also record your current odometer and fuel level readings.
How do we determine vehicle damage?
When you deliver the vehicle we will inspect it. Most vehicle damage is determined by a visual check over the body.
What is damage for which we may be liable?
The damage identified immediately upon collection of your vehicle that has not been recorded on the Docket/Tax Invoice will be either new damage or fair wear and tear. Fair wear and tear items are very slight/minor damages that may have been accidentally omitted by our staff when checking over your vehicle, generally considered applying to older vehicles.
How do we resolve conflicts?
Disputes may arise over liability for damage, the cost of repairs and other matters relating to vehicle damage. Our conflict resolution does not affect your rights at law.
Where you believe you have been dealt with unfairly by us or if you believe we have made an error you should raise your concern with the Claims Manager whose contact address and telephone number appear at the end of this document.
